Descriptions:
The STUF-300R1B energy measurement system (BTU) combines our high accuracy clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter together with standard temperature sensors and computes the thermal energy transfer in a pipe accordingly.
The STUF-300R1B system includes three parts: the main unit, the ultrasonic transducers, and the temperature sensors. The main unit functions as a thermal energy computer as well as an accuracy ultrasonic transit-time flowmeter. Its enclosure is IP65 weather-proof, thus can be installed indoor or outdoor. The ultrasonic transducers are the non-intrusive clamp-on type, very easy to install. The temperature sensors can be the standard PT100 sensors (3-wire type) or customer-supplied RTD sensors.
STUF-300R1B can be used for energy consumption measurement of a heating/cooling system in office buildings, apartment complexes, district energy management system, or any liquid-based thermal energy production system. It can also be used to monitor the efficiency of an energy production system such as HVAC installation. |
