Description :

The STUF-300F1C wetted flowmeter provides abundant capabilities for accurate liquid flow measurement. The utilization of proprietary ultrasonic signal processing technologies as well as ultrasound transmission/receiving technologies allows our product to measure pipe flow rate reliably and accurately.

Compared with a clamp-on flowmeter, the biggest advantages of this insertion-type flowmeter are its long-term stability, better signal quality and no installation uncertainty. The last two features can also be translated into higher accuracy. After the transducer is installed, no maintenance is needed. This feature can save a lot of money for those applications where many flowmeters are installed.

The STUF-300F1C flowmeter is carefully designed so that its user-interfaces are self-explanatory and the instrument is very easy to operate. Our unique hot-tapping installation fixture makes the installation simple and flexible, and there is no need to shut down the flow during the installation. Because the transducer is not welded to the pipe, but screwed in a water-sealed fixture, it can be easily taken off and put back whenever needed. Furthermore, the transducer head is usually in flash with the pipe inner surface, hence no intrusion to the flow. There is no pressure drop and no moving parts.

The STUF-300F1C product is designed for pipes larger than 3” (DN80mm). For smaller pipes, our spool-piece model, STUF-300F1G, might be a better choice.

The STUF-300F1C is ideal for flow monitoring and closed-pipe applications, such as normal water flow measurement (hot/chill water, city water, sea water), sewage and sludge measurement, and measurement of oil (crude/diesel/fuel), chemicals (alcohol, acids, etc.), and beverages.

Two RTD temperature channels (refer to model STUF-300R1B): to accommodate two PT100 temperature sensors. Thermal energy measurement and calculation functionalities implemented.

Recording

Automatically records the following information:

·  The totalizer data of the last 64 days / 64 months / 64 years;

·  The power time and corresponding flow rate of the last 64 power on and off events. Allows for manual or automatic flow loss compensation

·  The instrument working status of the last 64 days

Pipe Straight Section Length

Shielded transducer cable. Standard length 15’ (5m). Can be extended to 1640’ (500m).  Contact the manufacturer for longer cable requirement.

Cable should not be laid in parallel with high-voltage power lines. Neither should it be close to strong interference sources such as power transformers.
